How does an engagement with Special Guest begin?
Every engagement begins with a private conversation — by email at first. Tell us who is travelling, what matters and what must be avoided; we reply with a considered proposal shaped around those details. We do not sell packages, tickets or standardised tours.

Is there a minimum engagement?
Yes. Special Guest accepts a limited number of engagements each season, and a minimum engagement applies. Its scope is confirmed during the first conversation, once we understand the journey you have in mind.

Which regions does Special Guest cover?
Our home ground is Normandy — Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day landing beaches, Étretat and Granville — together with Brittany from Saint-Malo to Dinard, the châteaux of the Loire Valley, and the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Herm. Fully bespoke journeys can be composed elsewhere in France and worldwide.

Can you arrange private or after-hours access?
Often, yes. Private visits, after-hours entry and access to collections, estates and tables that are not otherwise available are arranged through relationships built over decades. Each request is confirmed individually and discreetly.

Do you work with assistants, family offices and travel designers?
Regularly. We are accustomed to preparing journeys through a principal's office, with a single point of contact, clear communication and complete confidentiality throughout.

Engagements are conducted in English and French.
